Get listed in five minutes

How to check whether your business is already on a Ranked site, how to add it if it is not, how to claim it, and what makes a listing actually work.

Being listed on Ranked is free and stays free. This is the whole process, which takes about as long as it says.

1. Find the site for your field

Ranked runs one site per field, and per country where a country needs its own. The home page lists every site that is live. Pick the one that covers what you do; that is where your customers will be looking.

2. Check whether you are already there

Search for your business name on that site before you add anything. Lists are built from public sources, so a great many businesses are already listed and simply have not been claimed or corrected yet.

If you find yourself, you do not need to add anything — you need to fix what is wrong. If you do not find yourself, go to the next step.

3. Add the business

Every consumer site has an "add" link in its header and footer. The form asks for the essentials: name, address, what you do, and how to reach you. It takes a few minutes.

Submissions are checked before they go live. That check is why lists stay usable, and it is why a submission is not instant.

4. Fill the profile properly

This is the step that matters, and the one most businesses under-invest in.

Profile completeness is one of the three components of the Ranked Score, it is the component a business fully controls, and it is free. But the better reason to do it is that a complete listing gets contacted more. Someone comparing three businesses will contact the one whose page answers their question and skip the two that do not.

Worth filling in every time: a real description in plain language, your fields or specialities, the languages you work in, opening hours, address, phone and website, and whether a first contact or consultation costs anything. Photos help on every kind of listing.

5. Ask your customers for an upvote

An upvote takes one click, needs no account and no comment, and is open on every listing including free ones. It is the single largest component of the score.

Asking the people who already value you is legitimate. Buying votes is not, and bought signals get removed. A short line in a follow-up email, pointing at your listing, is all this needs.

6. Claim it, so it is yours

Everything above works without an account. Claiming is what puts the listing under your control.

Sign in on all-ranked.com with your work address, open your listing on its own site, and use the "Is this your business?" card on the page. If the address you sign in with is on the same domain as the website the listing already publishes, we verify you on the spot; otherwise a person reads the request, usually within a few working days.

A verified listing appears in your dashboard. Corrections still go through the report link on the listing.

What happens next

Your listing sits in the same lists as everybody else, in an order computed from the same formula. How Ranked works for businesses explains the formula and what it deliberately excludes.

And Ranked Pro, if you want it

Ranked Pro is the paid listing: verified reviews and your replies to them, a Pro badge, your own phone number and website link on the page, and no other businesses advertised on it. It starts from your dashboard with 14 days free and no card, and costs €149 a year after that — what Ranked Pro costs lists the price for every site, and what Ranked Pro includes sets out what it adds.

Nothing in this article requires it. A free listing, filled in properly, competes on upvotes and completeness from day one, and it does that on exactly the same terms as a paid one.
